Unlike the title says, I bought not one, but two scented nail polishes.
To be more specific, I got Revlon's Raspberry Rapture and Orange Fizz ones.
They were delivered just a couple days ago. Of course, I just couldn't wait and tried them right away. In the wrong way.
I thought the polish himself would smell like oranges/raspberries. So I just opened the bottle and took a deep breath. Needless to say, it smelled just like any other nail polish, so all I got were burned nostrils. And I lost my ability to smell for about 3 minutes. Tip: don't try this.
After my sense of smell finally came back (and after I noticed the little "Scented when dry" label), I got to work. The colors are lovely, although the orange one is slightly transparent.
But color is not what I bought them for, right?
The scent is absolutely great. As strange as it may sound, I just couldn't stop smelling it. Especially the raspberry one. And they were quite strong too - I could feel the scent even when I had my hands down.
I fell in love with these polishes, and I see a bunch of new ones in my drawer in the future :]. They have some really great scents too. Can't wait!

#22 - Get a "You Mad Bro?" shirt
I actually bought this shirt a while back, but didn't get the chance to write about it. Here I am now :)
When I went to the store to order the shirt, the guy at the cash register had absolutely no idea how big each size was (although I've seen him there for the past 3 years). Or maybe he was having a bad day and didn't feel like helping me. Whatever the reason, I was left unsure what size to buy. I figured a slightly larger shirt couldn't hurt, so I got an M. What could go wrong, right?
Wrong. That M was a freaking XXL. Interestingly enough, the collar was really tight - makes me wonder how I would get in it if I was actually an "M" size.
Despite all the troubles, I am really proud of this T-shirt, and I can't wait for a chance to wear it outside.
I can forsee a very interesting April 1st next year :D.

#31 - Buy a pair of heart shaped sunglasses
Finally! I was so excited about this item, and when the package arrived, I was so sad that I was out of town!
But it turns out that the Universe is not plotting against me, as a chance to come back arrived. Of course, the first thing I did was to rip the package apart. And man, was I happy.
First of all, the glasses look exactly like they were supposed to. They aren't smaller, or disproportioned as I feared. They were also the same color like in the advertisment, so I can't be happier.
Have fun! Be crazy! It's summer! <3

I have to say, this glasses make you feel f-a-b-u-l-o-u-s . There is something about heart-shaped sunglasses that just make you feel like a star. Just for that feeling, I totally recommend buying a pair :).
I also think they fit just about every type of face, seeing as I have yet to see a person on which they didn't look good. I myself have a fairly difficult face when it comes to the shape of the sunglasses, but I had no problem whith these.
The good feeling they bring is just so great for summer! After all, most, if not all of us associate summer with a feeling of peace and happiness. When you have just another thing to make you feel great, can you ask for anything more?
Have fun! Be crazy! It's summer! <3

Update: Summer Playlist
I've finally got enough time to make that playlist I promised at the beginning of the summer.
Thanks to the great SCM Music Player (here), now you will be able to listen to my summer playlist while looking at any page you want. Yup, it plays continuously, no matter where on the blog you go.
I hope you will enjoy this new feature! :)

#14 - Make sun tea
I have to admit, until I saw a post on another bucket-lister's blog, I had no idea what sun tea is. But when I found out what it is, I thought it would be a great idea to celebrate summer by making tea with nothing but the sun rays, water and plants. For me, summer was always associated with nature, since I spent a lot of time at the countryside (who am I kidding, I'm writing this very post there). And this item encompassed a lot of what summer means to me.
So yesterday I finally got some water and got to work.
Since my grandparents are very "old-timey", I had access to real plants to use for my tea. A really big bag of them. I ended up choosing linden, chicory, St John's wort, yarrow, and a bit of mint.
After the choosing part was done, all I had to do was pour some water over them and wait. And man, I waited. It took a good 5 hours before the water was colored enough to be considered tea.

Sadly, the taste wasn't that great - too grassy for me. I must have chosen something that shouldn't have been there. Maybe the yarrow. I don't know. Next time, I'll probably stick to tea bags.
But people learn from mistakes. And the experience was priceless; I will definitely make sun tea again. Maybe tomorrow, who knows?
Bottom line, this was a great experience, and if the next try ends up better than this one, I'll make sure to update this post. :)
Cheers! (can you still say that with tea?)

Beach time
Hi!
Wow, It's been ... more than two weeks since I last updated with an item. That's kinda sad. But like I said in my last post, I have managed to check a few items off in this time; actually, it would've been weird if I hadn't.
Seeing as 2 weeks ago I've been to the beach on the family vacation, I tried to check as many beach-related items as I possibly could, since the sea is quite far from where I live. Sadly, #36 -Throw a
message-in-a-bottle into the sea will probably remain unchecked this summer, as the chances of seeing the sea again this year are slim.
However, I was able to check off all the other beach-related items. So:
#84 - Finally gather
up the courage to ride the Hammer
This is one item I'm really proud of. Ever since I was little, I would watch in awe at that big,big machine and I would cower in fear when I heard the (as I know now, excited) screams of the riders.
Every year, I settled for riding the bumper cars and the mountain rousse or the carousels. That was the tradition. This year, I added something new.
But having this item written down, on a blog nonetheless, made me self-conscious. After all, I will remember for years to come that summer when I was too afraid to go on a ride, even though I made a point of going on it. So I took a deep breath and got in. And man, I was scared.
But it payed off after all, for it was an absolutely great ride. And I will definitely get on it again next summer.
One more fear conquered!
#11 - Sleep on the beach
This is more like a half-check, since I only took a nap, however it is the best I got. Honestly, it is harder than it seems to fall asleep on a crowded, noisy beach :D.
#44 - Build a sandcastle
This wasn't hard at all to check off, since I had a little sister to help me, and building sandcastles was somehow a daily activity. But having a little sister help you has its downsides, like not being able to add too many details, or having to start over a few times because she accidentally knocked it over. The result is nowhere near a "state-of-art" sandcastle, but it was fun doing it, and that is what matters after all.
If I figure out how to get the recordings from my video camera and I manage to edit them, I will put up the video of riding the Hammer. Wish me luck?
Have fun! It's summer!

New posts coming soon
Hello everybody. I'm sorry I went AWOL for so long - I was in an area with little to no internet access.
But fear not, for new posts are coming soon. I have about 5 new crossed items, I just need to take the time to write them down; that will probably happen in the next 2-3 days.
Have fun this summer!
